This was a good book for non-fiction. I am very intrested in planes and how they work. This book explained how they are made and how through history they evolved. it talks about from the thoughts of planes to the invention of the plane by the wrights brothers to uses in wars to going to the moon. Also it talks about the first flight from america to europe. All that and what to expect for the future. I recomend this book to anyone that is intrested with planes and how they became to be, so all in all a give the bok a 3 out of 5 rating.

I've known her for a few months and she is one of my best friends. She is a total dancer, she is doing it all the time. She like the song "Whip my Hair", she does the dance move in the music video. She is a good friend and a all around good person. She is a positive person to be around, she'll make your day. She is always happy. All in all, i would chose her to whip my hair with any day.

Jess

     Jess and i are really good friends. I meet her over the summer durring the Wizard of Oz. It has only been a few months but it feels like i've known her my whole life. By the way she's my mom, J-mama. She is realy cool and I love her. Latley she has been distracted  in the ISP room and I've been trying to help her get back and focused. She is funny, nice, helpfull, funny, and almost a perfect good person. All in all, Jess is a very nice person and some one to talk to. ILY

My Shop

My shop is enginering, its A W S O M E. I have lots of fun. Today i got to use CAD, its a computer progrm. I wish I could stay in shop all day it's very fun. I am put into a special class called ISP, I am not the best with that but I will deal with it to be in pre-engineering. I like my teachers and a like all my peirs.  All in all to me I am completely happy with this program.

This was a decent book. Strait and to the point, there is a kid that lives with his parents and four siblings. He is stuck living in the basement will his siblings live a peaceful life almost. His mom will give him old food or little to none food while his siblings get whatever they want. While he is in his room which is all plain and a couple of things he hides his note book and he writes in code. He writes in code so his parents couldn't read it. The story goes on and he finds a teacher that changes his life. He gets a job with and becomes friends with a co-worker. He starts to like the co-worker. After a while he starts righting normal and reveals his life to the world. All in all I recommend the book it’s a great story. It shows how you can always over come something no matter how bad the situation is. I recommend the book, and rate it about three stars out of five.

When I think about literacy, allot comes to my mind. I think of it as a form of trading knowledge through words. It is a way of passing on experiences lessons or even just for fun. It’s everywhere in our lives, your reading and writing now, ever were you go you need to read or write. The roots of literacy were planted the day a formal national way to read and write was created.

No one really in flounced me to start to read. M teachers and when I was little I would read with my mom. My first experience reading was with my mom I think; before I would go to bed we would read. Some of my favorite nursery rhymes or fairy tales were humptydupty, little red riding hood, and Alice in wonderland. I would read them books all the time.
I had gone to Clementon elementary school all my life. I know that school like an astronomer knows the star constellations. Usually I am into science fiction, fiction or sports book allot. I found this out during school. I have never really been into reading a whole lot unless I was forced to. My teachers never got me in to the habit to like reading allot.
The middle school I went to was m elementary school, Clementon elementary school. My favorite authors that I like are jerry spinelli, Scott westerfeld, and Todd stasser. Always liked the same genres I don’t know why though they just come to my interest.
I want to read the sequels to "The uglies"; also I would like to read the call of the wild and heat. They seem like pretty interesting books to me. Some times I ready my dans comp magazine, it’s a biking magazine. I consider everyone a literate person because we all read and write on a daily basis there for I consider myself literate.
I kind a like reading all in all even though I doo get distracted some times, lol. (Laugh out loud) Right now I am reading the power point pointing out what you want in our essay, but I’m reading 2 minute drills right now. Literacy is import because you have to read every single day even if it is a stop sign. Literacy helped me in many ways, as in easier ways of communication to reading a book and learning a life lesson. Literacy is like a tree because it grows on and on and branching and expanding.

Uglies



This was a good book it was about a girl in an almost perfect town. In her town there are “uglies” and a "pretties". When you are born you are put in to an "ugly" town. Then at the age of 16 you get a surgery to make you "pretty". That's when you get put into a "new pretty" town. In the story the girl wants to be a pretty so bad because her bestfriend had turned into a “pretty" before her. She is almost 16 but she sneaks into the new pretty town, she looks through the town and finds her old friend. He tells her that she should stay out of trouble. Right when she is about to leave she is caught. She races through the partying city, she moves as fast as she can. When she gets back she is depressed. Then she meets a new friend. She teaches her how to do many new things after they become very good friends; the friend asks if she would like to run away to a town far away were you don’t become a pretty. She says no, but her friend still goes alone. On the day of her operation to become pretty she is not allowed to get the surgery. The committee to give surgeries tells her that because she let her friend escape she must find her to become a pretty. It takes her a couple of days to decide if she wanted to betray her friend. She decided to do it. After a long trip to the town were her friend went she started having second thoughts. She started likening to work there. Also, one of the man people in the town was starting to emotionally like her. She finally like finds out that when you get a surgery they damage your brain to party all day and night. Then the town gets raided and they take them back. Then she is turned into a pretty. There are also sequels to the book that I did not read.
